This event is to celebrate Shelton families’ heritage. You can host a station and/or participate and celebrate others’ heritage. We want all to join and explore the many cultures at Shelton at this special event. Shelton PTSA will provide $50 to support you sharing with our community.
When: Thursday, April 27th from 5:30-7:00PM
Where: Shelton Elementary School
Who: Any Shelton family that would like to share their family’s heritage and culture
What: Families set up a “Heritage Station” at a table to share a unique part of your family’s story.

Whether you are hosting a Heritage Station or want to stop by and explore the many cultures at Shelton, we hope to see ALL of our Shelton students and their families at this special event!

Here are a few examples for a Heritage Station:
- Perform a dance or play an instrument
- Do arts & crafts
- Give out small items (little flags, recipes, erasers…)
- Offer food samples and/or hand out recipes
- Show a short video
- Present books and pictures
- Display fun and interesting facts
- Any other fun idea you might have
