Before & After School Enrichment Programs

Note that programs run for 6 weeks from Oct 21st - Dec 6th from 2:35-3:30 PM.  If your student is enrolled in a club offered in Session 1 & 2, no need to enroll again.

• 3rd - 5th Grade Monday Afternoon Taylor Swift Club - with Ms. Gerrard.  Dates:  Oct 21st, Oct 28th, Nov 4th, Nov 11th, Nov 18th, Dec 2nd.  When: Mondays from 2:35-3:30PM. Where: Ms. Gerrard's Classroom.  First 2 weeks will meet in gym to start. Price: $63.

• Pre-K - 2nd Grade Monday Afternoon Art Club with Mrs. BonDurant -  Dates: Oct 21st, Nov 4th, Nov 11th, Nov 18th, Dec 2nd (no club on Oct 28th).  When: Mondays from 2:35-3:30PM. Where: Art Room.  First 2 weeks will meet in gym to start. Price: $100.

• 4th-5th Grade Monday Afternoon Robotics Club with Dr. Walter - Dates: Oct 21st, Oct 28th, Nov 4th, Nov 11th, Nov 18th, Dec 2nd.  Learn how to program VEX robotics for a competition in late January.  For more information, visit https:/www.vexrobotics.com/competition When: Monday afternoons 2:35-3:30PM. Where: Shelton Library.  First 2 weeks will meet in gym to start.  Price: $100.

• 2nd-5th Grade Tuesday Soccer Club with Ms. Jarnot
  Students should bring water bottle and tennis shoes.  Perfect for beginners and soccer lovers alike!  Dates: Oct 22nd, Oct 29th, Nov 5th, Nov 12th, Nov 19th and Dec 3rd. When: Tuesday afternoons from 2:35-3:30PM. Where: Shelton Gym.  Price: $74.

• 3rd-5th Grade Tuesday Afternoon Rugged Research Club
  Rugged Research offers after school programming  to bring park rangers, naturalists and environmental educators to encourage wonder in nature and science.   Dates: Oct 22nd, Oct 29th, Nov 5th, Nov 12th, Nov 19th and Dec 3rd. When: Tuesday afternoons from 2:35-3:30PM. Where: Shelton Garden or Science Lab. Price: $100. 

• KG-2nd Grade Tuesday Afternoon Geography Bee with Ms. BonDurrant
  Performance planned for Dec 3rd; information TBA.  Dates: Oct 22nd, Oct 29th, Nov 5th, Nov 12th, Nov 19th and Dec 3rd. When: 2:35-3:30PM on Tuesdays. Where: Art Room. Price: $70.

• PK-2nd Grade Wednesday Afternoon Sports Club with Ms Beccca
  Fun for all ages in the garden!  Dates: Oct 23rd, Pct 30th, Nov 6th, Nov 13th, Nov 20th, Dec 4th. When: 2:35-3:30PM on Wednesdays. Where: Shelton Gym. Price: $76.

• KG-5th Grade Wednesday Afternoon Slow Food Club  
  Provided by Slow Food of Denver  Dates: Oct 23rd, Pct 30th, Nov 6th, Nov 13th, Nov 20th, Dec 4th. When: Wednesday afternoons 2:35 - 3:30PM.  Where:  Science Lab (first 2 weeks meet in Shelton Gym). Price: $142.   

• 3rd - 5th Grade: Wednesday Afternoon Coding with Kids with Scratch Coding    Provided by Coding with Kids (a fun drag and drop coding tool).  Build games, animations and story projects.  Dates: Oct 23rd, Pct 30th, Nov 6th, Nov 13th, Nov 20th, Dec 4th.  When: 2:35-3:30PM on Wednesdays. Where: The Art Room.  Price: $100.

 

• 3rd-5th Grade Thursday Afternoon Cooking: Breakfast Club Edition with Mrs. B. -   Learn to make favorites like pancakes, egg dishes and granola.  Please contact Mrs B with questions or concerns about allergies  Dates: Oct 24th, Oct 31st, Nov 7th, Nov 14th, Nov 21st and Dec 5th. When: Thursday Afternoons 2:35-3:30PM. Where: Art Room Price:$125.

• All Ages Thursday Afternoon Barrio Baile: Inspired by Rio and Aladdin Dance with Brazilian and Middle Eastern Roots.  Children will learn Dabke and Samba de Roda. Costumes will be provided, if child chooses to perform.  Club dates are mostly Thursdays (Dates Vary with 2 live performances). Dates: Oct 24th, Nov7th, Nov 14th, Nov 21st and Dec 3rd.  2 Performance nights for club include Heritage Fair Night (Nov 7th) and AMP showcase (Dec 3rd).  When: 2:35 - 3:30PM.  Where: Shelton Gym  Price:$60.

• K-5th Grade Thursday Afternoon Health Heroes / Kindness Club -  With Mrs Knickberbocker & Ms. Becca, Second chance to enroll if you missed the session 1 signup dates. Dates: Oct 24th, 31st; Nov 7th, 14th, 21st; Dec 5th. When: 2:35-3:30PM Thursdays. Where: Shelton's Science Lab (1st 2 sessions will meet in the Shelton Gym).  Price: $175 (includes t-shirt).

• All Ages Friday Afternoon Capoeira Club with Lewis Lease: Unique opportunity to explore the dynamic art of Capoeira - a Brazilian martial art with African roots, that combines kicks, cartwheels and acrobatic moves, in an exciting game to play with friends.  Dates: Oct 25th, Nov 8th,  Nov 15th, Nov 22nd and Dec 6th. When: 2:35-3:30PM Fridays. Where: Shelton Gym.  Price: $60.

• KG-5th Grade Friday Afternoon Chess Club -  With Mr Galloway.  Anyone with Chess Experience. Dates: Oct 25th; Nov 8th, 15th, 22nd; Dec 6th. When: 2:35-3:30PM Fridays. Where: Music Room (first 2 weeks will meet in the gym to start).  Price: $50.
