COYOTE CHASE SPRING 2024 FUNDRAISER
To Support Shelton Improvement Projects
Shelton’s PTSA is excited to host The Coyote Chase Fundraiser this Spring.
All students are encouraged to gather pledges by asking family, friends, neighbors, or local businesses to sponsor them based on the number of laps they walk or run during the event, which is on the calendar for Wednesday, April 24th, with a Weather Backup Date on Monday, April 29th.
Sponsors can pledge per lap or make a flat donation. It is a healthy way to earn money for Shelton while having lots of fun. 100% of the funds raised will support improvement projects at Shelton. The Shelton PTSA and Shelton are working collaboratively on the following improvement projects. The more we raise, the more we can do.

- Replace the Surface and Playground Equipment on the Lower Playground. The total estimates are for $200,000, but if we can raise 60% of the funds we can apply to the District for funding for 40%. We have already raised $25,000 through community and pledged grants.
- Support for upgrades to the Gym and Stage Sound System, which are used daily during PE, as well as during school wide performances, such as AMP performances, drama performances, speakers, and other assemblies.
- Support of Technology used in classrooms by teachers and students.

- All participating students will also have the chance to win additional raffle baskets, teacher experiences, and other fun prizes.
