Shelton Visual, Performing and Culinary Arts
5 Virtual Showcases throughout 2020-2021
AnShelton Students will have the opportunity to express themselves through various art forms throughout the year. For each art showcase, PTSA will help compile photo and video submissions and curate virtual shows to be shared with Shelton families.
***
The first Student Art Showcase is based on Reflections, a National PTA program, but this year parents and teachers have picked our own Shelton theme to be about community: What Community Means to Me . . .
Thank you to the AMP Team for collaborating with PTSA to get kids thinking and responding to the prompt. Students completed projects during AMP and they submitted projects from home.
***
Our second showcase is the creation of an Activity Book that will be for sale at the end of the year featuring: Recipes, Sci Experiments, Art Projects, etc. The idea is it will be a book of repeatable activities to give kids fun ideas of things to try over summer/anytime! See the flyer below. If you loved International Night, you can get started by downloading a recipe template HERE. And keep your mind working over winter break by conducting a science experiment! Download one of these templates:
sciencetemplate_scientificmethod.pdf
sciencetemplate_scienceclipart.pdf
We will provide additional examples for other project submissions as the year progresses, but submissions can be accepted at any time and do not have to follow a template.
