Upcoming events & important dates
Have you updated your My School Anywhere (MSA) profile? (not Jeffco Connect)
MSA is an online directory and communications tool PTSA uses to keep you informed about events and programs, including classroom parties and volunteer opportunities.
You should have received an email with a link to your profile, but if not, just click the button below and you can edit your info or add your family if you are not in the system:
Just remember to select your child's teacher so you'll receive info relevant to his or her classroom!
NOTE: Unless you chose to opt-out in Jeffco Connect, your profile is included in MSA. You can opt-out by logging into your MSA profile.
It only takes a few moments, so make sure you don't miss important info!

New Medication Policy
The process for administering medication (prescription and non-prescription) to students has changed. Parents must provide a medication order signed by their healthcare provider if their child has a condition that requires the administration of any medication (prescription or non-prescription, including Tylenol).
Parents must provide the medication along with the appropriately signed medication form located at the office. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is the only medication you do NOT need to provide it as we have it in the clinic.
Once received, a nurse or clinic aide can administer either a prescription or over-the-counter medication, based on the healthcare provider’s order.
Please abide by our parking lot rules and do not ride your bikes in our school parking lot or on school property during arrival and dismissal times. Students know they should walk their bicycles on school property and we would like our parents to model this as well.
In the past, dogs were allowed on campus but to ensure the health and safety of our Shelton students, staff and families, we can no longer allow dogs (or any pets) on campus during school hours or any district-sanctioned events.
You may wait for your child on the sidewalk next to the street with friendly dogs on leashes.
Ready to get involved & volunteer?
Sign-up forms for classroom and party volunteers went out in the Friday folders this week. For more information or for a new signup form, please visit our Volunteer Page.
The majority of classroom volunteering will begin at the end of Sept. / early Oct. depending on each teacher’s request. We look forward to working with you!
