This year we are excited to blend two of our previous staff committees into one. We combined our Equity and PBiS committee into the Culture and Climate Committee.
Their vision: Through building positive relationships, Shelton’s Culture and Climate Committee will create and maintain a safe and secure school community to achieve higher success and satisfaction for all. The Culture and Climate Committee will work closely with our Health and Wellness Committee to see how they can support each other. Currently, we are looking at revamping PBiS and looking into other social emotional wellness programs in order for Shelton to be systemic. CMAS TESTING A CMAS family resource page has been created on the public website at jeffcopublicschools.org >> Assessments and Tests >> CMAS Family Resources. This page contains information about the CMAS tests and reports along with score interpretation resources for families. Friendly reminders from the principal:

Are you interested in helping to coordinate our year-long biking encouragement program at Shelton?
All students have completed their bike safety and education training during PE classes this week. The next step is to expand on their knowledge and enthusiasm with "Walkin and Wheelin Wednesday" events throughout the school year. This opportunity requires attendance at one parent workshop hosted by Bicycle Colorado. Please contact hrubyca@yahoo.com if you are interested!
