shelton garden plots available!
Garden plots are available now!
We have 15 plots that will be available to community members, and 7 plots will be reserved for each grade level. If we have more than 15 people interested in plots, we will do a lottery.
Things to Consider:
If so, please contact: Sheltonschoolcommunitygarden@gmail.com for more information. Our garden committee will send you an application and details about next steps.
Please note: Lots are 10' x 12' and the cost of the plot is a suggested donation of $25-$50 for the season. There is a required background check for plot lease.
We expect that plot assignments will be made by 3/17. Dates are subject to change.
earth day & garden volunteer day Sat, 4/22
Mark your calendars to join us on EARTH DAY, Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m.-12:00 p.m. for a volunteer work day at the garden.
Denver Urban Gardens (DUG) will be on hand with a crew of volunteers and a shift leader who will assign tasks. We'll be spreading crusher fine for pathways and edging ground-level plots with cedar.
Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that can get dirty, and garden gloves if you have them. DUG will provide all tools and supplies. Students are welcome!
Please RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan to come so that we have enough materials for everyone.
